Wilbur Knuckles

Wilbur brings decades of hands-on field leadership across some of the most complex industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects in the country. As Sr. Director of Operations, Wilbur is responsible for overseeing execution in the field—ensuring safety, coordination, and quality across Penn’s erection, fabrication, and rebar operations.

Throughout his career, Wilbur has led self-perform work on large-scale manufacturing plants, energy facilities, healthcare campuses, transportation infrastructure, and professional sports venues such as the MLS Stadium in St. Louis. His experience includes major projects for clients such as Boeing, Ford, GM, Shell, Holcim, FedEx, and professional sports franchises, with individual project values ranging from multi-million-dollar renovations to nearly billion-dollar industrial facilities.

Wilbur is known for his ability to manage complex scopes within active facilities, fast-track schedules, and high-risk environments—often while coordinating multiple trades and working around ongoing operations. His leadership style emphasizes preparation, communication, and accountability in the field, helping teams deliver work safely, efficiently, and right the first time.
